Shireen’s Jalapeño Filler


Ingredients

Chicken boneless breast 2
Salt ¾ tsp
White pepper ¼ tsp
Garlic paste ½ tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Ingredients for batter
Self raising Flour 3 tbsp
Baking powder ¼ tsp
Corn flour 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Chilled water to make batter
Self raising flour as required
Salt a pinch
Long 6 inches bun 1
Ice berg lettuce sliced 1 cup
Jalapeño pepper sliced 2
Thousand Island dressing 4 tbsp
Milk to make batter

Method

Cut each chicken breast into 2 length wise pieces marinated with ¾ tsp salt, ¼ tsp white pepper, ½ tsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp chili sauce. Make batter with 3 tbsp self raising flour, 1 tbsp corn flour, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp oil and chilled water, dip marinated breast in batter, roll in corn flour, deep fry in frying pan till crisp and golden. Remove and keep aside, cut your 6 inches bread roll, heat slightly, spread with 4 tbsp Thousand Island dressing, put fried chicken pieces top with 2 jalapeño, again top with Thousand Island dressing, cover roll in butter paper and serve with fries
